how to order: semi-custom design

1_ place your order (􏰀1 week)

once you decide you'd like to go ahead, you can place an order by heading to my shop, downloading a free custom order form, completing with your details and sending back to me at

as soon as i receive your order, i’ll be in touch to finalise your exact requirements. once we have aligned on the quote, timings and details of your order, i will put together an invoice for 50% deposit (non-refundable).

2_ design & production (2-4 weeks)

upon receipt of your 50% deposit, i will start designing and creating your stationery. a digital proof will be sent to you within 5􏰃 working days. two round of revisions are included after you see the first proof to finalise your design (*for more guidance on what changes can be included, please see specific question below). once you're happy with the final proof, your files will be sent to print.

please review all the information carefully and make sure your details look correct. once your files have been sent to print, i cannot take responsibility for any errors or additional changes. two round of revisions are included after you see the first proof. additional proofs will incur a charge of £25 per round.

3_ assembly & delivery (1-2 weeks)

once your invites are printed, i will assemble and carefully package them up and send to you via a tracked courier service. depending on your order, assembly will usually take 1 week. this includes adding any ties, ribbons or finishes to your suite, and sealing them in your chosen envelopes ready for you to address, stamp and send.

once assembled, please allow 2-3 working days for your items to arrive. shipping to the UK is free and will be sent by courier. shipping upgrades to Europe and the rest of the world are available at an additional cost.

luxury extras: how do i add these to my order & how much will it cost?

the cost of all luxury extras (such as gold foiling, wax seals, handwritten envelopes etc.) will vary depending on the quantity of your order and your overall requirements.

for semi-custom designs, the luxury extras and associated costs are outlined in the information packs available for download here. for bespoke designs, i will include the cost of your requested extras after our initial consultation.

can i change the wording or design elements on the item i’m buying?

the semi-custom collection works best when the existing design is stuck to as closely as possible. customisation is therefore limited to text changes and specified elements only (e.g. quotes or lyrics) - these are all outlined in the information packs. any substantial changes to the design including type, illustrations or significant layout amends, will be quoted for on sight of requirements and may add additional time to your total order.

can i order a different colour scheme/theme?

yes, it is possible to change the colour scheme of your suite. if you are looking for an illustration change or adjustment, let me know your brief and i will provide a quote on sight of your requirements.

how many proofs do i get, and can i get a physical proof?

you will receive three digital PDF proofs as standard prior to print - one initial proof, and then two additional proofs incorporating any text changes for final approval before print. additional changes are charged at £25 per round. physical proofs can be ordered at £20 per design (+ shipping) and take approximately 10 days.

i spotted an error on my invites after they've gone to print - can i change this?

once signed off by you, unfortunately i cannot accept responsibility for any errors – it is your responsibility to ensure the wording/spellings on your stationery matches your requirements. if errors are discovered once your stationery is sent to print, i am required to charge for a reprint at the minimum quantity.

can i order a sample?

yes, a sample pack can be ordered for £15 from the shop. alongside information about my offering, this includes a full invitation suite from the semi-custom collection to give you an idea of how the design looks and feels in real life (please note this is not personalised with your own details or chosen design).

if you go ahead and order your wedding stationery with me, i will discount the price of the sample pack from your total order :)

how many invites do i need?

i suggest ordering one per household, plus an additional 15-20% just in case.

how long should i set aside for my invites to be created?

usually, save the date cards and on the day items have a lead time of approximately 2-3 weeks. invites from the semi-custom studio collection take 4-6 weeks. If you are looking for something bespoke, please allow 6-8 weeks.

i can accommodate rush charges at an additional fee – please contact me for more details.

payments & returns

a 50% non-refundable deposit is required up front for all items. the remaining balance is then payable before your items go into production. unfortunately i cannot send any items into production until the total balance is paid. items are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged.


shipping to the UK is free and your products will be sent by courier. please allow 3-5 working days following dispatch of your item.

shipping to Europe and rest of world is available at an additional fee – let me know your location so i can work out shipping costs (please be aware goods may be subject to local custom charges for which we can accept no responsibility for).
